| This is a unique opportunity to receive hands-on instruction in the art of jewelry photography. The workshop will focus on using a digital camera to create professional looking images of various types of jewelry. As you have probably discovered, jewelry can be more challenging than other types of product photography. So the workshop will look at how to deal with glare on shiny surfaces, supporting the subject, and controlling focus. |
| Among the topics to be covered: |

| We will see what the workshop participants are most interested in covering at the beginning of the session and concentrate on those. Participants are encouraged to bring some of their own pieces to be used as possible subjects in the workshop. All lighting equipment will be provided, but it is advisable to bring your own camera and tripod. |
