EZcube

The EZcube includes advanced new features which can't be found on any other lighting product. These features, when combined with the new EZcube Accessory kit, allow you to quickly suspend or support your subjects in an unlimited variety of ways for photography. The EZcubes are now covered by five US Patents.

Previously subjects like chandelier earrings, tiaras, fishing lures, sunglasses, ornaments, dolls, baby clothes and other organically shaped items, were extremely difficult to support on their own. And truly shadowless shots of subjects like sunglasses, watches, and other small objects, required lots of time in Photoshop. Below are just a few examples of how to use the new built-in support system we refer to as EZrigging. You will find that the EZcube really does make it easy to shoot great shots, even when the subject is difficult to support.

In the past, supporting subjects like this suncatcher would have been very difficult. Now, with the new EZrigging system this type of difficult subject can be easily suspended for truly shadow less images.

The sun catcher dangles magically from "invisible thread", (very thin monofilament line).

One EZclip on the support rod, tightly grasps the invisible thread. It can be rotated 360 degrees for easy turning of the sun catcher.

The background is then easily removed using software such as Photoshop or Photoshop Elements.

Photographing sunglasses has always presented multiple challenges. They can be tricky to support at the proper angle, they show reflections in the lenses, and often cast distracting shadows.

	Invisible thread is positioned to support the glasses middle front, and two sides.
	By adjusting the thread length to angle the lens down, they reflect the white sweep instead of the photographer or surrounding room.

Photographing Swarovski crystal chandelier earrings used to be a challenge. Now, with the EZrigging system this type of difficult subject can be easily suspended, saving hours of frustration and time.

	Now, Swarovski chandelier earrings can just hang on invisible thread.
	A small black paper background is held by one EZclip, suspended from a clear rod.
	The invisible thread is easily removed from the final image.
	Accessories used : 5 EZclips, 1 suspension rod and invisible thread, all hung inside the 20" EZcube.

Adjusting heights now are a snap. These Swarovski crystal earrings dangle at different heights, which is a very popular arrangement often used by professionals when they shoot earrings. It used to take lots of time and aggravation setting these up in this type of positioning. Now the height adjustment and rotation angle are a snap with the EZcube's EZrigging features.

	One EZarm is used to hold black paper in position to reflect a bit of black in the silver earring clasps.
	A second EZarm holds a small white paper background in place.
	Two EZclips tightly grasp the "invisible threads" that support each earring.
	We used two threads for this shot, to allow us to adjust each earring height individually.
	The EZclips swivel 360 degrees and then stay in position making rotation of the earrings easy for photographing all sides.
